The SilverTip Telematics GPS DC Monitor is a unique device that allows monitoring of the DC voltage between the GPS receiver and a remote mounted active antenna.
The GPS active antennas require 1.8, 3.3 or 5 Volts to operate and this is usually supplied by the GPS receiver. This tool allows monitoring of the voltage level, with an LED indicator to give a positive indication that the receiver is providing power to the antenna. The RF path is tuned for all GPS bands (including: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou-2, NAVSTAR) providing excellent VSWR and passband ripple performance so that it will not affect the performance of the GPS system.
Typical Applications:
- Laboratory monitoring of GPS systems
- Software development for GPS tracking systems
- Diagnostic tool for GPSDO or GPS Time reference systems
- Remote monitoring of GPS antenna/receiver
